Definitely one of my main driving force in life, MUSIC deserves a whole section in this site.
Subsections should include:
(i) Live/Concerts: review (where i’ve been) and upcoming (what i should go / see ) , please visitor feel free to blend in info !
(ii) Off-Stage: would contain (i) a ranking: Top-something of what i’m listening these days: make it in fact an everyweek ranking ! (to leave a trace of what i’ve been listnening over the week / and explain what mood i’m “in”; as usual at work i listen to XXX on my bike to ‘YY” etc…
; (ii) a Must-Check: what i think is essential to check out !

Where to start ?
To make a “ranking” of the things i’m listening to right now sounds impossible,
but in fact in the same time it is rather easy: just close my eyes and recognise what’s playing on my great Sennheiser-Headphones now…this bring us to the following 1st band to be cited:

At work I’ve been listening to “And now the rain sounds like life is falling down through it”, at home i have been mainly listening to the album: “Temple-IV”, a nice gift from giggy.
Roy montgomery is a genius guy from New Zealand, he has set up so many collaboration with other musicians (one of them ‘Hash Jarr Tempo” with Bardo Pond that you will hear from on this same site). However, somehow he works a lot on his own, surroundd by machines…
He has this distinguishable sound (all in distorsion) and style (at the boundary between mellow and disturbing music) The overall result is fantastic ambient music !
I’m completely hooked.

Probably everybody on this blog knew about it but me.
There was one sample on a collection by Les Inrockuptibles,
and I went for an album called “I have no idea what you are getting yourself into”.
Excellent, happy and jumparound indie/electro music like I like it now.

We’re actually working on this with a friend of mine (thoomis, O yeah , you know him Laurent: you met in PAris at the concert of Taraf de Haidouk!! Was good hein ?)
